Anti-Bullying Week

Today, Year 5 celebrated Anti-Bullying Week by learning about the power of respect and kindness. Through role-playing activities, they acted out real-life face to face and online scenarios to practice standing up against bullying and supporting one another. The children discovered how small acts of kindness can make a big impact, and how showing respect helps create a positive and inclusive school environment. These lessons will inspire everyone to continue spreading kindness and building stronger, more supportive relationships every day.

Year 5 Science – Planets

Last half term Year 5 were learning about Earth and Space.

We ventured outside on the school yard to measure the relative distance and sizes of the planets using everyday objects.

We also tracked the rotation of the Earth by observing shadow length and direction during the course of the school day.
