During the Autumn term in Year 2 we:
- enjoyed a visit from the School Cook & Nurse Coxon
- Enjoyed playing Superheroes in the Secret Garden
- some of us visited St Joseph’s Academy to do some art work

In January we visited the OpenZone to help improve our computer skills.
We had a visit from Father Martin to talk about special books as part of our RE topic.
In March we took part in the South Tyneside School’s Music Festival …
… and dressed up for World Book Day.
In April we visited Preston Park and the butterfly world.
In June some of us took part in the Dance Festival – we danced to Mambo No 5, choreograhphed by our Year 6 friends Elizabeth and Katie.
We took part in, and won, the Key Stage 1 Skipping Festival, hosted by St Joseph’s Academy.
We have had a fantastic year, we are now ready to move to the Juniors!
