Year Four would like to invite their parents to attend a maths cafe on Friday.
Some of the children in Year Five who did not go to Thurston enjoyed lots of activities last week. They had fun rock climbing at Simonside Climbing Wall, enjoyed watching The Spies in Disguise at the cinema and even enjoyed a delicious ice cream.

Year Five have had the most amazing day today investigating the Ancient Egyptian era with Mr Egypt. We explored both life and death during the Egyptian period and loved getting to handle actual artefacts! This has really brought the topic to life for us and we can’t wait to learn more during our upcoming topic lessons.
Year 4 got a warm welcome on Thursday from their friends at Windsor Care home. The children sang songs from their latest concert for the residents and spent time chatting with them. They also received lovely cards that the residents had made for them. The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!
Year Four had a terrific time at the Cricket Festival today with three teams winning gold in their Group. Howzat!!! Well done, everyone!
