41 of our Year 5 children went on residential to the beautiful valley of Borrowdale – it certainly lived up to it’s reputation of being the wettest place in England!  They spent an action packed 3 days working alongside a team of instructors from Live4Adventure.  They went hill walking, canoeing on Derwentwater, ghyll scrambling in Honister Ghyll and climbing.  After a hearty, homecooked meal every evening they learned about the Keswick Mountain Rescue team, went on a night walk and competed in a variety of team challenges.  Mrs Crawford’s team won the team problem solving challenge – well done for working so well together!
